On 1st May members enjoyed a tour of the archives, guided by staff of the Alfred Gillett Trust. A new museum is being built at the site in Street, and is due to be opened in 2025. This preview of the extensive archives tracing the history of the of the Clark family, their collections and the shoe industry, followed a talk given to the Society by Rosie Martin, Director of the Trust.
